THUNDE BAY -- In a digital age, it's possible to make a living just by creating six-second viral videos.

A Canadian digital celebrity was in Thunder Bay Friday to share his knowledge to local entrepreneurs. Stewart Reynolds, better known as "Brittlestar" has more than 700,000 subscribers on the video sharing platform Vine. He was the Keynote speaker at the Italian Cultural Centre Friday morning, with about 100 people in attendance.

The event was hosted by the Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre, to help people learn more about digital media marketing.

Reynolds has been making funny videos since 2013 and it is now his full-time job. He and his family have made videos for Disney, Walmart, and Subway just to name a few. Reynolds said to be a successful social media star, you must post content daily whether it is hilarious or not.

Reynolds took questions and of course, stopped for a few selfies with his fans. He adds that he started making videos because he just wanted to laugh every single day.
