DRYDEN, Ont. -- Dryden police are investigating after a stolen truck was driven through a garage, causing thousands of dollars of damage.

Police were called just before 3 a.m. Friday morning reporting a man entered a Pitt Avenue home, took the set of truck keys and drove away with a blue 2008 GMC Sierra. A second call was made a short time later that a truck drove into their yard and struck their home before continuing east on Parkdale Road. A third call reported that a truck drove through a garage on Parkdale Road, where it came to rest and the suspect fled on on foot.

The suspect is described as a man wearing a light grey hoodie.

Dryden police are asking anyone who saw anything near Pitt Avenue and Parkdale Road to come forward. They are also asking anyone who has home video security systems in the area to check footage and contact police.

Nobody was injured but damage is estimated to cost thousands of dollars, police added.
