(FORT FRANCES, ON) –On Monday April 18, 2016, at 11:00 pm, Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting general patrols on the 1000 Block of Kings Highway 11, with in the Town of Fort Frances.
The officers observed two motor vehicles travelling at a high rate of speed. Two men, a 31 years old from Thunder Bay On, and a 23 year old from Guelph On, have been charged with “Racing a Motor Vehicle” as per the Highway Traffic Act section 172(1).
The male’s driving privilege was suspended for seven (7) days and the vehicles was also impounded for the same length of time.
Both are to attend Fort Frances Court on the 27 of May 2016 to answer to the charge.
