Students at Hammarskjold high school were thinking pink Wednesday as part of a Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser.

The school's cosmetology class decided to help out the cause by painting pink nail polish on anyone who donated two dollars.

The event is also being held Thursday and Friday in the school's cafeteria during the lunch period. Organizer Enzo Mollicola says research shows one in three women will be affected with breast cancer at some point in our lives, and this is their chance to make a difference.

All proceeds will go towards breast cancer awareness and research.
