THUNDER BAY – Students and alumni plan to stand with striking Confederation College faculty on Friday afternoon in an effort to show their support.
Students are asking members of the public to join them on the picket line on Oct. 20 between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to walk with faculty and learn more about the strike.
For those who want to lend their voice “for a better college system,” extra signs will be available.
Participants have the choice to stand at any entrance or on the picket line.
A picket captain wearing a yellow badge will be at each entrance for anyone with questions.
