Students at Westgate Collegiate are taking the skills they've learned inside the classroom and using them to help the less fortunate this holiday season.
For the past couple of years, the high school’s transportation class has been collecting and creating a number of items to donate to Christmas Cheer.
So far 100 toys have been donated and close to 40 bicycles have been refurbished for children to open Christmas morning.
The school's woodworking class has also built cribs for all the dolls that are being donated and finishing touches were completed by students in the design program.
The Christmas Cheer hampers will be given out starting Tuesday at the CLE Coliseum.
