OLIVER PAIPOONGE, Ont. – A Murillo home was completely burnt to the ground in a Sunday afternoon fire.

Oliver Paipoonge fire chief Mike Horan said the blaze appears to have started around 2 p.m. and completely engulfed the house.

“The entire structure is gone,” he told CKPR Radio Monday morning.

Nobody was home at the time of the fire and he suspects it was burning for a little while before a passerby noticed and made the first emergency call.

Horan said there are no grounds for suspicion of foul play.
