THUNDER BAY – Supply teachers working for the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board have voted in favour of a tentative agreement reached last week.

The deal between the board and Thunder Bay Catholic Occasional Teachers will run through Aug. 31, 2019, after a two-year extension to the 2014 to 2017 agreement was agreed upon.

“It has been a long process and this is the very last teacher contract to be settled in the province. We are pleased to have finally reached an agreement on local terms for our 2014 - 2017 collective agreement with the school board.” said Aldo Grillo, president of the OECTA Thunder Bay Occasional Teachers Local.
