Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a weekend stabbing.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say they arrested a 26-year-old man from a north-side home late Sunday night. Police could not reveal any further details about the suspect Monday afternoon.
The suspect was arrested following a reported stabbing on Marks Street around 3 a.m. Saturday.
The victim required surgery and is still being treated at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The victim is believed to be in stable condition.
The suspect remains in custody and is expected to appear in court sometime on Tuesday.
The investigation is ongoing.
