Suspect arrested, charged in Hodder Avenue Homicide

THUNDER BAY - Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Major Crime, Emergency Task, and Intelligence Units located and arrested Telique RICKETTS, 22, of Brampton, Ont., at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Saturday in connection to a Hodder Avenue homicide which occurred on May 2. 

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service responded to a call for assistance in the 400 block of Hodder Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the night of May 2.

Police located a 29-year-old man later identified as Adrian Anthony RICHARDSON with serious injuries sustained during a shooting incident. Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.

Ricketts has been charged with First-Degree Murder and appeared in bail court on June 4 and was remanded into custody with a future appearance date.

The investigation into the death of Adrian Richardson remains ongoing.
