SIOUX NARROWS, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a Kenora man following a violent incident in the Township of Sioux Narrows.
OPP officers responded late Wednesday afternoon to a report of a woman in distress.
The investigation revealed that there had been a physical altercation inside a vehicle between the female driver and a male passenger, about two kilometres north of the community of Sioux Narrows.
The victim sustained what OPP describe as life-threatening injuries, and was flown to the Kenora hospital.
She is now listed in stable condition.
A 24-year-old man was taken into custody on a charge of aggravated assault, pending a bail hearing.
