Police charged a man with impaired driving after he crashed into another vehicle in front of the police station Saturday night.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the incident took place at the intersection of Balmoral Street and Central Avenue just before 11 p.m.
Police say a woman had stopped her vehicle at the intersection when the suspected impaired driver crossed into her lane. The vehicles collided head on.
Both vehicles sustained heavy damage, but no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
The man accused of impaired driving is expected to appear in court in April.
