A 30-year-old Thunder Bay resident, who already had a suspended licence, has been arrested for drinking and driving.
Provincial police said Thunder Bay detachment officers received complaints of a possible impaired driver on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers conducted patrols, which led to them finding the vehicle on Highway 588 and doing a traffic stop.
Police said it was determined that the driver was impaired and was arrested.
The accused is charged with impaired driving and driving while under a suspension. A 90-day licence suspension has been issued, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused is expected to appear in a Thunder Bay courtroom in September.
