Sweet North to open third location on High Street

Popular Thunder Bay bakery already has locations on Court Street and Fort William Road.

THUNDER BAY – Sweet North Bakery’s treats are coming to High Street.

The Thunder Bay business on Monday announced it plans to open a third location in city, taking over the spot vacated by the former Brent Park Store, which was also the longtime home of High Variety.

The company, in a post to its Facebook page on Monday, announced the new location will be a grab-and-go bakery, take-out café and storefront.

“We are very excited to be part of the neighbourhood and thankful for this opportunity to expand our business. We will be hiring experienced baristas and bakers,” their post reads.

Prospective employees are asked to bring resumés and references to the Court Street location.

The company’s second store is located on Fort William Road.

Sweet North’s latest store is expected to open next month.
