The James Street Swing Bridge and a section of Brown Street will be closed this week.
In a news release issued by the City of Thunder Bay, officials say the closures are necessary for the rehabilitation of the CN Rail lines. The information provided by the city can be read in full below

Please be advised of the following road closures:
• Northbound lane on the James Street Swing Bridge from Aug. 7 at 6 am until Aug. 8 at approximately 5 pm.
• Brown Street between Gordon Street and Christina Street from Aug. 9 at 6 am until Aug. 10 at approximately 5 pm.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes during these closures. The closures are necessary for the rehabilitation of the CN Rail Lines.
