Police charged a man and woman with robbery of a Mac’s convenience store in the city’s south core.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers received a call about a robbery at the Mac’s convenience store on Syndicate Avenue around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. Police say a man and woman entered the store and confronted the employee. The woman had a syringe while the man grabbed cash from the till, police say.
Both suspects fled on foot but police arrested them six minutes later in a alleyway a short distance from the store, police say.
