Talks between HAGI Accessible buses and the transit union have come to a halt.
The contract between the two sides ended in January, and the employer and union representing the transit employees have since failed to reach an agreement.
Union President Charlie Brown said a third party will hopefully be able to settle the dispute.
“Our issues on the table have to do with improving the efficiency of the service of HAGI,” Brown said. “We’re really not getting anywhere. So I guess we have to look for a third party and hopefully resolve these differences.
“If not, then I guess we’re going to be a nasty position.”
Both sides hope to reach an agreement by the New Year.
