Taxi driver robbed at syringe-point

Police are on the lookout for a thief armed with a syringe. Just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning a Diamond Taxi driver reported being robbed at syringe-point by a woman, who is known to police, at the 1100-block area of Lincoln Street.

Police are on the lookout for a thief armed with a syringe.

Just after 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning a Diamond Taxi driver reported being robbed at syringe-point by a woman, who is known to police, at the 1100-block area of Lincoln Street.
Police said they know where the accused is, but “she’s making it difficult for us to get to her.”
The accused allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cab driver.
The investigation continues.
