Sea Lion

The sea lion, at the foot of the Sleeping Giant, was a popular tourist landmark for many decades. If you look carefully, you can see outlined in its rocks the profile of a lion – its mane, nose, mouth and forelimbs very evident. Unfortunately, a major spring storm that flung ice upon the formation in the 1930s left it unrecognizable.
