The locally loved Teddy Bears Picnic will be held inside the Fort William Gardens on Tuesday due to rain forecast.

THUNDER BAY — The Teddy Bears Picnic, typically held at Vickers Park, will be relocating indoors to Fort William Gardens this year.

A release issued by the City of Thunder Bay on Monday stated that everything families love about the Teddy Bears Picnic will still be happening on Tuesday, just inside.

Due to rain in the forecast for Monday night into Tuesday morning, organizers have made the decision to move the festivities inside.

The Teddy Bears Picnic will be on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At this years Teddy Bears Picnic, all the classics can be expected such as a teddy bear parade, a first responders display, a boo boo bear station, face painting, food vendors and a community group expo.

“Same great event, just warm and dry inside the Fort William Gardens. Don’t forget your teddy bear,” the release said.

More information on the Teddy Bears Picnic is available on the city's website.
