Teen arrested after vehicles windows smashed

THUNDER BAY -- A Thunder Bay teenager has been charged after the windows of two vehicles were smashed in the Windsor Street area. 

The incident took place at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday, police responding to a weapons call in the 300 block of the north-side street. 

On their way to the scene police learned a group of youths had allegedly smashed the windows out of two vehicles, and upon arrival, located and identified a male suspect. 

According to a release issued by police, the back, front and rear driver's side windows were smashed out of a parked SUV as well as the front windshield of a nearby crossover. 

A 15-year-old Thunder Bay youth is charged with two counts of mischief under $5,000. 

The accused was released with conditions and faces a future court appearance.
