Kenora detachment OPP officers arrested a 17-year-old boy from Dryden and charged with him trafficking narcotics after seizing 350 grams of marijuana.
Officials with the OPP say officers with the Kenora detachment stopped a vehicle just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 17, just east of Kenora.
Police say officer spotted the marijuana while speaking with the lone male occupant of the vehicle.
Officers seized 350 grams of marijuana from the vehicle after arresting the teen.
Police say they believe the estimated street value of the drugs seized amounts to about $7,000.
The teen is scheduled to appear in a Kenora courtroom Monday.
