Two Thunder Bay teens involved in a police pursuit and crash on the weekend have been charged.
The teens were sent to hospital as a result of the crash. The collision happened Sunday afternoon on Highway 17, east of Terrace Bay, after the occupants of a stolen car fled when police tried to pull them over for speeding.
The 14-year-old driver of the car has been charged with possession of stolen property over$5,000, dangerous operation of a vehicle causing bodily harm, and flight from police.
The 16-year-old passenger has also been charged with possession of stolen property.
Meanwhile, the Province's Special Investigations Unit continues its probe into police involvement in the crash.
None of the suspects can be named in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
