Police are looking for three teenage boys in connection to an armed robbery that happened behind a high school.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the incident happened behind Sir Winston Churchill High School around 2 p.m. on Thursday. Three teenage boys approached two other teenagers and asked for cigarettes. They gave them the cigarettes and then shortly after the three boys demanded money and used a knife to threaten the two teens, police say.
No one was injured and the two teens reported the incident to school staff.
Police say the three boys were of Aboriginal decent and approximately 16 years old. Police describe one boy as skinny with short black hair and wearing a blue hoodie, black pants and a black baseball cap. Police describe the second boy as bigger wearing a red, brown and white bush jacket and the third boy as short and stocky and wearing all black.
