TERRACE BAY, Ont. -- The Township of Terrace Bay will have some labour peace with some of its unionized employees for the next three years.
According to CAO Jon Hall, members of UNIFOR Local 229 have signed a new collective agreement.
“There were some negotiations before Christmas and we were really pleased to present to council a fair agreement, negotiated in good faith by both parties, that is good until 2017,” Hall said.
Local 229 represents 13 members of the parks and recreation department.
