Police continue to look for three men who robbed a teen in the city’s south end Saturday morning. Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the teen walked along Victoria Avenue near Brodie Street at 9:15 a.m. when three men approached him.
Police continue to look for three men who robbed a teen in the city’s south end Saturday morning.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the teen walked along Victoria Avenue near Brodie Street at 9:15 a.m. when three men approached him. The men grabbed the teen and robbed him of cash and some personal items.
The male suspects were last seen heading south on Brodie Street from Victoria Avenue, police say.
The 16-year-old male victim did not require medical attention.
Police are now looking for an Aboriginal man believed to be about 50 years old, standing five-feet-seven inches with a heavy build. The man had long grey hair in a waist length braid and wore a plaid bush jacket during the robbery.
The second suspect is described as being a 45-year-old Aboriginal man with a chubby face and brown shoulder-length hair. The suspect wore a tan Carhardt jacket during the robbery.
Police describe the third suspect as an Aboriginal man about 45 years old. He had a heavy build, and wore a yellow toque and bright jacket at the time of the robbery.
Police say they are following up on possible suspects. Anyone with information about the possible identity of the suspects is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
