Three arrested in Forest Street vehicle break-ins

Police have taken three teens into custody in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in the Forest Street area. Officers were responding to a complaint just before 3:30 a.m.

Police have taken three teens into custody in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in the Forest Street area.

Officers were responding to a complaint just before 3:30 a.m. on Monday, when they located the three suspects, two 19-year-olds and an 18-year-old, who police did not name.

The trio of suspects allegedly had property taken from vehicles in the area in their possession when police arrived.
All three face charges of theft under $5,000.

Residents in the Forest Street area are being encouraged to phone police at 684-1200 for assistance in recovering their belongings.
