KENORA, Ont. – Three people are facing numerous charges following a drug bust Thursday in Kenora.
Ontario Provincial Police have charged three people with drug-related offences following an investigation focused on methamphetamine trafficking in and around the Kenora area.
The investigation led to the seizure of crystal meth, crack cocaine, marijuana, Canadian currency and other drug paraphernalia items used in the trafficking of crystal meth.
Police estimated the street value of the drugs at $31,000.
Joey Nicolas, 34, of Kenora, faces charges of possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of shatter for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of property obtained by crime and failure to comply with recognizance.
Crystal McDonald, 28, of Kenora, has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of shatter for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
Kayla Jolicouer, 27, of Kenora, has been charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
