Three people are in custody following a small crime spree in the Nipigon area.
It started Tuesday morning with a report of stolen gas from the Gravel River Resort. OPP officers eventually spotted a vehicle containing the suspects heading toward Nipigon, but broke off their pursuit when speeds became too high.
The abandoned vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Quebec, was later found in Nipigon and a suspect was apprehended nearby.
Two other men were taken into custody after breaking into a camp on Nipigon Bay. The suspects allegedly stole clothing and a snowmobile.
Two Quebec residents and another From PEI now face several charges relating to those incidents.
