THUNDER BAY — The Thunder Bay 50/50 jackpot is on a record-setting pace — and it’s not even December.

The grand prize for March surged to more than $600,000 as tickets sales hit one week on Friday, the quickest the draw has climbed to that total since it was launched in early 2020.

Last month’s jackpot finished at $702,310 and there are still four weeks to go before this month’s jackpot is drawn on March 31.

The top prize has twice topped $2 million, in each of the past two Decembers. This marks the 15th time in 26 draws the grand prize has reached $600,000.

Tickets are available for purchase by anyone 18 and older who is physically present within Ontario at the time of purchase.

Tickets range from $10 for five numbers to $75 for 300 numbers, plus a bonus 100 numbers, and are available at www.thunderbay5050.ca.
