THUNDER BAY — Gasoline prices in Thunder Bay have shot up to near-record levels for the Lakehead.
The posted price for regular unleaded at many—but not all—gas bars around the city Tuesday morning was $1.469 per litre.
A search of news archives shows that local prices are now encroaching on territory that was last seen over a decade ago.
In September 2008 the high-water mark was set at $1.484 per litre.
