Thunder Bay gas prices reach a new high

Some gas stations are charging $2.299 per litre

THUNDER BAY — The price of gasoline has climbed to a new all-time high in the Thunder Bay area.

According to Ontariogasprices.com, as of Tuesday morning several gas bars in the city were charging  $2.299 per litre of regular unleaded.   

In the city, the website reported the lowest price was $2.109.

On Fort William First Nation, gas could be purchased for $1.880.

The Canadian Automobile Association reports that the average price of gas in Ontario is currently $2.110 per litre.
