Thunder Bay jobless rate remained unchanged in December

The final month of 2010 showed no change in the city’s jobless rate, according to numbers from Statistics Canada. Thunder Bay area's unemployment rate for December remained similar to November’s 6.7 per cent.

The final month of 2010 showed no change in the city’s jobless rate, according to numbers from Statistics Canada.

Thunder Bay area's unemployment rate for December remained similar to November’s 6.7 per cent.  

Those figures are among the lowest in Ontario, along with Kingston and Ottawa.  

The national jobless rate remains unchanged at 7.6 percent.
