South May Street resident Johnathon Thompson was arrested on Monday and is facing charges of break and enter and commit and offence, one count of utter threats to cause death or bodily harm, one count of possession of a loaded restricted firearm and one count of possession of firearm or ammunition while prohibited from possessing them.

Thompson was expected to appear in court later on Tuesday.

He became the third suspect arrested in the shooting. Two other males were charged on Nov. 6 with attempted murder.

Sault Ste. Marie police made the arrest in Thunder Bay.
