Thunder Bay police charge three people with impaired driving offences

City police are reporting the names of three individuals charged with impaired driving offences from Feb. 9 to Feb. 16.

THUNDER BAY — Three individuals have been criminally charged with impaired driving-related offences in Thunder Bay from Feb. 9 to Feb. 16.

Police are reporting the following names who have been charged with impaired driving by alcohol or drugs, driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 milligrams or above of alcohol in 100 millilitres or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.

  • Steven Gary CHOCHLA, 36, Thunder Bay
  • Neebin SCANLON-WABASSE, 21, Thunder Bay
  • Tyson Stanley SPENCE, 35, Thunder Bay

Individuals charged with impaired driving offences also face a 90-day driver’s licence suspension.

Police continue to report the names of individuals charged with impaired driving offences in an effort to bring attention and deterrence to the issue in the city. 

The public is reminded to call 911 if they see an incident of suspected impaired driving in progress.
