Tigers go pink for cancer research

THUNDER BAY -- The Westgate Tigers junior and senior basketball teams on Thursday changed their colours from orange and black to pink for a day as they were hosting their annual think pink game in support of breast cancer.

Senior Kayla Gallo cut a total of 12 inches off to donate to the local cancer society.

The Tigers raised approximately $1,800 and are donating it to the Northern Cancer Fund.
