Toddler struck

A three-year-old boy received minor injuries after a vehicle backing into a parking lot knocked him to the ground. Thunder Bay Police Service and EMS paramedics responded the call around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A three-year-old boy received minor injuries after a vehicle backing into a parking lot knocked him to the ground.

Thunder Bay Police Service and EMS paramedics responded the call around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the boy was playing in the parking lot of a John Street building complex when the vehicle struck him.

The boy was knocked to the ground and taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences for a possible broken leg but the extent of his injuries are still not clear.

The investigation is ongoing.
