The OPP have re-opened a stretch of Highway 17, about 25 kilometres west of Vermilion Bay, following a fatal collision Sunday evening.
Police say one person was found dead at the scene and another person was airlifted to the hospital Sunday night.
The person airlifted to hospital is said to be in serious condition.
OPP had closed the highway immediately after the crash and announced its opening early Monday morning.
Details of the actual collision are not known at this time.
