The following information has been provided by the OPP
SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. -- The Sioux Lookout OPP would like to advise the public of a road closure.
A tractor-trailer unit is currently blocking Highway 516 at Moose Lake Road, which is approximately 45 kilometers north of Sioux Lookout.
In order to avoid further congestion at the blockage site, Highway 516 is being closed at Vermillion River Road, which is approximately 25 kilometres north of Sioux Lookout.
Any vehicles wishing to travel on Vermillion River may still do so, otherwise it can be used as a turn around point for all other traffic until the road re-opens.
The highway is not expected to re-open until closer to 12:00noon, Central Standard Time.
