THUNDER BAY -- Motorists travelling along John Street Thursday morning may be forced to make a short detour .
A City of Thunder Bay work crew has closed John Street at Winnipeg Avenue, meaning anyone travelling along John Street will have to make a very short detour once they reach that intersection.
City of Thunder Bay officials with sewer and water services said the closure was due to a “service leak” at a nearby home.
The issue is said not to be too serious, but the intersection will likely remain blocked off to traffic for most of Thursday.
Only the intersection itself is closed and John Street remains open to traffic.
