City of Thunder Bay Media Release
July 10, 2015 – The Pacific Avenue Bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic and pedestrians on Tuesday, July 14 and Wednesday, July 15, due to resurfacing.
There will be no access to the East End neighbourhood via Pacific Avenue during the work period. Motorists will be required to use the Main Street or Central Avenue bridges to access the area. Pedestrians can access the East End by using the tunnel located near the intersection of Simpson and Rowand streets.
The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors – such as weather – can have an impact on project timelines.
