THUNDER BAY – Motorists heading north on Balmoral Street should expect a bit of a delay.
Construction work has closed both northbound lanes of the busy arterial roadway at Alloy Drive Friday morning, forcing drivers to reroute east on Alloy Drive to connect with Central Avenue.
Crews are laying down a permanent asphalt patch on the the section after a winter water main break.
A city spokesman said the work is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
