THUNDER BAY – People who will be in the Thunder Bay International Airport Wednesday morning are being advised a training exercise will be taking place.
The OPP and Thunder Bay International Airports Authority will be conducting a joint training session in the main terminal of the airport between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The training will be conducted by the OPP’s North West Region Explosives Disposal Unit as well as airport personnel.
A portion of the terminal is expected to be cordoned off but service will not be disruptive.
There is no danger to the public.
People are asked to not attend the airport just to observe the training.
