UPSALA, ON — A tractor-trailer driver escaped injury when his vehicle went out of control Tuesday on Highway 17.

Ontario Provincial Police said the eastbound transport truck overturned after it entered the ditch and careened back onto the highway near the Graham Road intersection.

Police said the tractor-trailer sustained significant damage.

Two heavy-duty tow trucks were required to drag it across the road to a nearby clearing.

The trailer was reportedly carrying a load of meat.

OPP said Wednesday that no charges had been laid as yet, but they are still investigating the incident.
