Treaty Three Police constable charged with impaired driving

An officer with the Treaty Three Police Service near Kenora, Ont., has been charged with impaired driving.

An officer with the Treaty Three Police Service near Kenora, Ont.,  has been charged with impaired driving.

The 49-year-old Constable was arrested on Saturday after police received reports about a police vehicle parked on an ice road on Lake of the Woods.

Treaty Three officers attended and found the lone occupant to be intoxicated.

He was arrested and taken to the Kenora OPP detachment for a breath sample.

The officer has been suspended from duty, and his next court appearance is on March 7.
