Tree causes power outage that affects up to 1,500

Crews estimate power to be restored around 11 a.m.

THUNDER BAY – As many as 1,500 residents in the County Fair and rural North area are without power Tuesday morning.

According to Thunder Bay Hydro’s outage map, a tree came in contact with a power line, which caused the outage.

Crews estimate the power will be restored around 11 a.m.
