Trio faces drug trafficking charges

Police seize suspected cocaine, cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking Thursday evening.

Police arrested three people, including two males from Mississauga, and seized a quantity of cocaine following the search of a south side home Thursday evening. 

Members of the Thunder Bay Police Service’s Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 at a residential address in the 400 block of Vickers Street North. 

When police entered, multiple people were found to be inside. 

Three suspects were identified, arrested and transported to the TBPS headquarters at 1200 Balmoral Street. Two suspects were arrested as they attempted to flee from police. 

A search of the home led to the seizure of a quantity of suspected cocaine, cash, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking. 

The estimated street value of drugs seized is believed to total more than $20,000 CAD. 

Adnan ADAN, 21, of Mississauga, Ont., is charged with: 

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking 
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 
• Resist Peace Officer 

Jayden DUNKLEY, 18, of Mississauga, Ont., is charged with: 

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking 
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 
• Resist Peace Officer 

David John Wayne TODISH, 52, of Thunder Bay, is charged with: 

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking 
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 

All three appeared in bail court on Friday, June 3, and were remanded into custody with future appearance dates.
