Trucker charged after Highway 102 collision

THUNDER BAY — OPP have charged a truck driver from the Greater Toronto Area in connection with a single-vehicle collision Monday evening on Highway 102.

Photos posted on social media by Skilled Truckers Canada show a tractor-trailer left the road and overturned near the Mud Lake Road intersection.

The police investigation led to a 27-year-old Brampton resident being charged with careless driving and with failing to notify the Ministry of Transportation of a change of address.

No information is available yet on the nature of any injuries the driver may have suffered.

OPP did not release the person's name.
