(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime and Enforcement Bureau (OCEB)-Kenora Drug Unit have charged two Kenora men with drug related charges following an ongoing investigation.
The police investigation resulted in the arrest of two men and a search warrant being executed on a Kenora residence. Police located 12 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of Marijuana, 12 grams of Psilocybin (magic mushrooms) cannabis resin and a quantity of Canadian currency.
The combined street value of the drugs is approximately $1600.
As a result of the investigation 33 year old Gregg KOZIE of Kenora has been charged with Possession Schedule I (cocaine) Contrary to Section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA), Possession Schedule II (marihuana) Contrary to Section 4(1) of the CDSA and Possession Schedule III (psilocybin) Contrary to Section 4(1) of the CDSA.
Also charged is 41 year old Michael FOSTER of Kenora. The accused has been charged with Trafficking Schedule I (cocaine) Contrary to Section 5(1) of the CDSA, Trafficking Schedule II (Marihuana) Contrary to Section 5(1) of the CDSA, Trafficking Schedule III (psilocybin) Contrary to section 5(1) of the CDSA, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I (cocaine) Contrary to Section 5(2) of the CDSA, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule II (marihuana) Contrary to Section 5(2) of the CDSA, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule III (psilocybin) Contrary to Section 5(2) of the CDSA, Possession Schedule II (Cannabis resin) Contrary to Section 4(1) of the CDSA and Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 Contrary to Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
Both men have been released to appear in Kenora Court on July 9, 2015 to answer to the charges.
