THUNDER BAY -- Two people are in hospital after a two-vehicle collision at the corner of High and River streets around 11:30 on Saturday morning.
The driver of one of the vehicles was extracted and placed on a spine board before being loaded into an ambulance. The vehicle was badly damaged on the front and all along the driver's side.
Another vehicle was wedged in the snowbank with its airbags deployed.
A spokeman for the Thunder Bay Police Service said the extent of injuries is unclear at this time.
